ELEGANT
WEDDING VIDEOS |
Experience With
Wedding Video. |
A company that produces
wedding
videos year around and in a large geographical area. |
Producing Wedding & Event Videos since 1987 in the Midwest
and 18 states. Ranked
as one of the Top Wedding Video Companies in the Nation. |
Training and
Experience of
Videographers
and attire. |
Who will be at your
wedding? Trained Teams or "part time" weekend shooters or a photographer trying
to make more money with video? What is their experience? What will they wear? Do they have
professional equipment for shooting, editing, and recording the sound? |
Our
full-time Award Winning
well dressed, mature, trained, fully equipped, Videographers using Multiple
WideScreen Cameras and professional wireless microphones will
capture All the Elegance of your Cherished Memories with Crystal Clarity
of both Sight and Digital Sound. |
| Multi-camera Coverage. |
Can your video company
provide multiple camera coverage especially at the ceremony and reception? Is a trained
Videographer operating each camera all the time during all the coverage you paid for? Do
all of the cameras match in color and detail? Can the company edit the video in house or
is their equipment borrowed or rented or no more than your uncle's camcorder? Can they
guarantee the equipment will be available for your event? Can they edit to a true
broadcast format for mastering? |
Three
trained videographers and an assistant adequately cover most weddings we
record each year. We are doing more 3-camera weddings each year. All
teams operate the cameras and use matching equipment to ensure award
wining video. Our studio owns 3 high end multi-camera editing
systems where your video will be artistically produced to your choice of DVCAM,
& DVD masters. |
| Type of Cameras used. |
This is very important
and very over rated by some. Cameras have one, two, or three CCD "chips". The
one chip cameras (home camcorder) produce the lowest quality while 3 chip cameras with
either 1/2" or 2/3" chips produce the best quality, especially for low light
environments. Small consumer 3 chip cameras can not perform with TV type cameras. |
Our teams use only
professional 3 CCD cameras costing from $25,000+ to ensure the very best
video in adverse low light conditions. All of them have 2/3" CCD's.
Don't be fooled by companies offering 3 chip cameras even though they
may be digital, 1/3" chips (very small) are very poor low light sensitivity and color. |
| What video formats are
used and where does digital rate? |
Some brides are very
disappointed after they get their video because they "bought into digital".
Digital is a way to store video after the camera has "shot the image". If the
camera has poor low light capability and small chips or if the operator is untrained and
shoots poorly it doesn't matter how good digital is, or how good he can edit. If it shot
wrong it can't be "fixed". |
Our
Teams shoot with DVCAM,
but the quality of light sensitive chips, lens, and camera head, and proper use of
lighting determine the image quality more. Also the best camera can only be operated be a
trained Videographer to get the best video of your wedding. For years Elegant Wedding Videos has
been delivering the highest quality picture and sound with artistic power to brides and
their families to enjoy for the rest of their lives. |
Professional
sound recording capabilities. |
Without high quality
sound a video is still only Home Movies? Look for:
Multiple broadcast wireless mic placements.
Digital recording in the field.
Wireless mics at the Reception.
|
Multiple
UHF mics are used at no extra charge and is standard for all wedding
ceremonies and receptions and record all vows, music, speeches, toasts,
singers, and everything clearly in digital stereo along
with the DVD's delivered to you. Beware of inexpensive wireless
systems that experience interference. Don't hire anyone that doesn't provide at least this
as a minimum. |
| Lighting Techniques. |
Lighting at ceremonies
must be able to ensure high quality video, yet be unobtrusive to avoid aggravation.
Lights
should be portable, dimmable, and controllable by the Videographer. |
All of our teams are
equipped with professional variable lights. We are trained to use only enough light to
acquire our footage. We take extreme care to avoid obtrusiveness. |
| Companies that can show
many Wedding Videos with the same high quality at many different locations and lighting
conditions. |
Any true professional
should be able to show many videos of weddings they have produced.
NOT JUST A SLICK DEMO TAPE! |
Because of our library of 100's of
weddings we likely can show you a wedding of your location or one close to it. We always
show full weddings to clearly show the high level of quality we produce for each wedding
couple. We are proud to show you any of our weddings not just our award winners. |
Prices,
Contracts.
Editing Systems,
Mastering formats,
Master tapes. |
Price: You get what you
pay for, if it's cheap, your video will likely look and sound that way. Look at it this
way, it costs money to produce the very best in video for TV, why do we think that there
is some mysterious way to produce the most beautiful video in the world for only a few
hundred dollars. Has the company been in business long enough to use credit cards and do
they have a real studio? Contract: A must, this not only protects the
video company its for you! Are they insured? Does it spell out your coverage? Does
it clearly say what kind of cameras, editing, people, coverage, etc. will be used?
How is the footage of your wedding edited?
Tape based or computer based?
Inexpensive "non-linear" editing systems offer effects but usually degrade
quality significantly, and are rarely used by wedding video companies editing long
formats. |
Elegant Wedding Videos is
competitive with any company that produces very high-end wedding videos. Our prices can
not be compared with others that provide lower quality or less content.
A contract is required to book us for every wedding video. Editing
systems and mastering tape formats effect editing quality just as camera
quality. We offer to our clients the option and benefits of each. Our
videos are edited onto the mastering format of DVCAM, and
DVD and are normally completed within 2 to 4
months if we have all of the materials from the wedding couple necessary for editing. |
